Our aim is to maintain and restore aquatic biodiversity in and around Loch Lomond by means of practical, responsible and sustainable approaches to water, land and fishery management based on sound science.

Latest Projects

The European eel was at one time widely distributed throughout the Lomond catchment, reaching into the highest tributaries of the system. Moreover, eels were that plentiful that there was once an active eel fishery on the Loch itself.
